Caleb and Bryanna Norton have always loved books and reading. They also love the Lisbon Public Library and Ms. Amy! One day, they asked their Grandpa and Grandma (Ray and Linda Davis) to help them fund a donation to the library. The result was a remarkable donation of $1,000 to the Imagination Library program. Thanks to this generous donation the Friends of the Lisbon Public Library are on their way to meeting their goal of fully funding the first five years of the Imagination Library program. Caleb and Bryanna, your special gift will help us make sure that every child enrolled today will receive their books until they meet that special 5th birthday and head to kindergarten prepared to read! Thank you!!!

The McAfees are “Partners” in the Friends of the Lisbon Public Library’s Imagination Library! Their donation will support the total costs of mailing books to four children for their entire five years in the Imagination Library program. Each child in the Imagination Library program receives one high quality, age-appropriate book every month at no cost to their families. The Friends of the Lisbon Public Library donate their time for administration of the program and gratefully receive community support to cover the total program costs of $3000 - $5000 per year.
